LIDE Emirates & HCT/CERT: Education & Innovation in the UAE
LIDE Emirates signs agreement with HCT/CERT to advance education, innovation, and the future of key industries in the UAE.
We are proud to announce that LIDE Emirates has signed a formal agreement with the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) and its commercial and research arm, CERT — the Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training — to promote education, talent development, and innovation across strategic sectors.
HCT is the UAE's largest applied higher education institution, with over 25,000 students across 16 campuses nationwide. Founded in 1988, it is the country's leading institution for applied and technological education. CERT is its commercial, research, and training arm, delivering world-class programs to develop the UAE's workforce and drive applied innovation.
This partnership focuses on areas that are shaping the future of the UAE and the global economy: Artificial Intelligence, Agribusiness, AgriTech, and eSports — sectors where education, talent, and private sector collaboration are critical to building long-term competitive advantage.
Representing the agreement on behalf of HCT/CERT is Marc Rjeily, Executive Director of Enterprise Growth & Commercial Strategy at CERT, one of the UAE's most active voices in education, skills development, and public-private partnerships.
At LIDE Emirates, we are already working on agribusiness initiatives for the UAE, connecting Brazilian expertise in agriculture and agritech with the region's growing demand for food security, sustainable farming, and agricultural innovation. The UAE's ambition in this space is significant, and Brazil's position as a global agribusiness powerhouse makes this a natural and powerful bridge.
If you or your company operate in AI, Agribusiness, AgriTech, or eSports and are looking to explore opportunities in the UAE, we invite you to reach out. LIDE Emirates is building the connections that turn ambition into action.
