Rodrigo Paiva visits CODERN to strengthen trade with the UAE

On his agenda in Natal, capital of Rio Grande do Norte, Rodrigo Paiva, president of LIDE Emirates, paid a visit to Companhia Docas do Rio Grande do Norte (CODERN). 

Accompanied by the president of CODERN, Nino Ubarana, Paiva had the opportunity to get to know the Port of Natal up close, an important logistics hub for the export of products from the Brazilian Northeast.

Exploring a new hub for trade between Brazil and the UAE

During the visit, Nino Ubarana presented the port's infrastructure and operations, highlighting its strategic importance for the local and national economy. 

The Port of Natal stands out for the export of a wide range of products, including fruits, oil, fuel, salt, cement, soy, fertilizers and much more. 

These products are shipped to various markets around the world, with a significant portion destined for the Middle East.

Strengthening trade between Northeast Brazil and the UAE blog

Rodrigo Paiva was impressed with the capacity and efficiency of the Port of Natal, highlighting the numerous opportunities to strengthen trade between Rio Grande do Norte and the United Arab Emirates. 

“It is impressive to see how this port exports a large part of the fruits and other products from the Northeast of Brazil to the world, including the Middle East. I am amazed at the many opportunities to strengthen trade between Rio Grande do Norte and the United Arab Emirates”, stated Paiva.

The president of LIDE Emirates highlighted the importance of establishing strategic partnerships that can take advantage of the potential of the Port of Natal to increase the flow of exports and imports between the two regions. 

“The robust infrastructure and strategic location of the Port of Natal offer an ideal platform to foster new businesses and commercial partnerships. I see great potential to expand our trade relations and boost mutual economic growth,” he added.

Rodrigo Paiva's visit to CODERN is part of a series of commitments in Natal, in partnership with LIDE Rio Grande do Norte, led by Jean Valério. 

Together, Paiva and Valério have been meeting with local authorities and businesspeople to explore new business opportunities and strengthen ties between the Brazilian Northeast and the United Arab Emirates.
